How to lose up to 8kgs in a single workout

by Noel Chelliah on Wednesday, Apr 27, 2005

So damn simple. I dunno why people bother with all those diet pills, meal replacements, tough diets…
This is what you do:

1. Get a membership/free trial at any Fitness First Gym in Malaysia
2. Before you begin your workout, weigh yourself on the weighing scale in your locker room.
3. Proceed with workout. (You dont need to exert yourself.. just a little slow walking on the treadmill would do actually, while you enjoy your favourite TV show)
4. Once youre done with your workout, now go weigh yourself on any weighing scale in the gym, OTHER than the one you weighed on previously.
5. The results? Simply amazing.

How much weight you lose depends on which Fitness First branch you go to. Here are some observations I’ve made:

Fitness First, Menara John Hancock (Damansara) : Lose up to 8KG!
Fitness First, Menara Axis (PJ) : Lose up to 5KG!
Fitness First, The Summit (Sunway) : Lose up to 5KG!
Fitness First, Wisma Consplant (Subang) : GAIN up to 5KG!

Well there you go. Happy exercising!

Funny and disturbing at the same time. And I thot the scale at FF is much more accurate than my Watson scale at home. Thank God never bothered with those scales before (plus don’t really know how to use them :D)

asmadi:
the scales were fine some time ago. Dunno what happened to them now. I guess if youre more or less always at the same outlet, and always weighing at the same scale, you wont really notice.

Stick to your watson scale at home. :)

Oh, the Summit is actually in Subang Jaya – if you want to be specific, USJ.

Rajan, FF in Wisma Consplant (Next to Subang Parade) is the Subang one… and yes, your right – USJ is more accurate for FF Summit. Thanks! :D

Adalina: Wow.. it’s not often that sweat travels from one treadmill to another – he must have really been sweating a lot!! But adalina.. I’m sure you actually didn’t mind his sweat on you… right? Haha.

Anyway, that’s why it’s always good practice to carry a hand towel – especially when doing anything that’s gonna involve a lot of sweating.

LOL, there’s a guy who sweats profusely in my gym as well. After his short, intense cardio workout, he usually goes for weights…and wherever he settles, a PUDDLE remains!

Yeah…we call him Tsunami…very fitting nickname =P
