I just received this SMS from Fitness First at 1PM:
Hi DM, we regret to inform you, due to smoke damage at FF Menara Summit from a fire in the building, the club is closed today. It will reopen on 19/05.
Personally, I think it’s very very professional and just plain good of them to have the courtesy to inform their members. Fitness First gets TWO THUMBS UP from me for doing this. Well done.

Yup, i received the same text msg earlier today as well. It did informed me that i can use any other branches facilities today.
Really? Mine didnt say that I could use the other facilities. But then again - I’m a passport member, so perhaps thats why they didnt bother mentioning it. Wow. Another 2 thumbs up for them. Heh heh.

I was in Fitness First, Menara Summit this morning. Oh man…. I can still smell the smoke in the gym.
Anyway, I would to thank everybody in the gym. They were still like damn busy cleaning up the place, the carpets, the gym equipments, the floor and oh man…. everything lah. My workout was not affected at all. The free weights are free of dust, the cardio machines are free of dust and everything else are free of dust.
Chong : Good to hear its cleaned up. I am gonna be headin to the FF Summit in about 2 hours time.
definitely good business sense to let the customers know first
