I was going to do a little write up today on my thoughts about BSN’s N.O. Xplode, when I realised that I’ve actually written about this amazing supplement earlier in February this year. Read it HERE. I posted up an ad too (MUST WATCH!) which I thought was truly one of a kind. In fact, I still think that this ad kinda gives you a ‘kick’ and makes you wonder.. is this pre-workout supplement FOR REAL?

I have been taking No explode and cellmass for a little more than two weeks now and i feel great. I am expierencing some very nice gains. Is adding nitrix to this going to make a difference or should i just stick with the two I’m on now?

takedown: Most people would be happy with NO Xplode and cellmass cos it would show results pretty quick.. my advice to you - if you have the spare cash, then invest in Nitrix, and yes, it will help. But otherwise.. you’re pretty okay with those two. By the way, Cellmass + N.O. Xplode + Nitrix = The BSN Mass Stack. Incredible results in 20 days.. I’ll dare guarantee it. ;)

To answer your question, yes, N.O. Xplode does not contain any protein.. as its main purpose is to get you READY to workout with maximum intensity, so you make the most out of your time at the gym. If you wish to follow BSN’s method of supplementing, you should also consume 1 serving of Cellmass post-workout.. and 30 mins after you’ve had Cellmass, THEN you have your protein shake. Basically, N.O. Xplode and Cellmass fill in the gaps that most other supplements out there don’t. If you have the money to spare, i’d highly recommend both Xplode & Cellmass because I know you’ll be pleased with the results. I know it works wonders for me. Just 2 weeks on this combo and 3 personal trainers, on the very same day commented on a noticeable increase in size on me. It’s exciting!
By the way people.. I’ve just realised that this entire post and its comments have become like a super BSN advertisement… but please believe me.. I’m not being paid to do this! (I wish I was though!!).
Just yesterday I was talking to an FF Axis PT, and he was kindda like explaining the pro’s of BSN. Feminine Mascularity: I like your nick.. it gives me shivers!! If you’re just beginning to lift weights.. and feel that you get tired easily.. I’d hold off the fancy supplements for now, and examine your meals. Perhaps your carbohydrate intake before your workouts are a bit too low..? Try bumping up your carb intake for your pre-workout meal. A supplement like N.O. Xplode is not a ‘must-have’.. but a ‘nice-to-have’.

aik: I like your question. We need to make sure that we eat the right foods before our workout in order to maximize efforts and results. Also, stick to complex carbohydrates because they take longer to be converted to glucose, which will keep blood sugar levels consistent and prevent an ‘energy crash’ during a workout. Avoid simple carbohydrates such as sweets up to 60 minutes before exercising as they can send blood sugar levels shooting down, leading to a severe drop in energy.
You could try apples, bananas, muesli, or my personal favourite - oatmeal! I guess bread is kinda okay too. To maximise results if you’re trying to build muscle, I’d also suggest a protein shake with your pre-workout meal. You should mix the shake with water to keep the calories down since you’re already consuming carbs from your meal.

DM: was reading the instructions for NO Xplode, says “To achieve maximum results, avoid eating a meal or drinking a protein shake within an hour of taking NO-Xplode”. Now my pre-workout shake includes one scoop of whey powder, if i take NO Xplode would that diminish my results? or should i not take whey pre-wo (but NO Xplode doesnt have protein right?)

Hey I have just stumbled upon this site. I am taking no xplode and i love it(i just started the noxplode around the 15th of january). I just started getting into bodybuilding in august of 2006 i was 6′3″ 158lbs now i am 183lbs as of yesterday. I just started taking noxplode but i was wondering if cellmass would help me out. I am trying to get into the 195-200 range- I take 20g protein after breakfast, after workout, and then right before bed. that has been working very well. i eat 3-4 eggs for breakfast with a bagel. i eat fruit almost everyday. I eat tuna or turkey sandwiches midday. then i workout, then have lunch usually tuna or grilled chicken, I usually have more eggs at night with chicken maybe beef a couple times per week. I am not trying to be bulky, i just want to be larger and more cut. I was wondering if cellmass is right for me. I allso would like to know how i should cycle on and off of noxplode and cellmass. i want max gains. thanks
Frank the Tank: Personally, Cellmass gives far better results alone compared to NO-xplode taken alone… But if you combine both and stack them accordingly, the results will blow ur mind away!! :P (Although ur nutrition, workout and rest shld be sufficient too!)
If you want max gains, go for both! That’s my advice :)
Easily gain 15-20lbs for me in one month with stacking both supps! At least 90% muscle mass as I’m ectomorph…

hey.. dis NO Xplode thg is foreign to me haha.. n i hv no idea what it may help w.
im not tryg to build bulk but i think im too low on carbs. e below is only applicabl to days im wrkg.
std breakfast: muesli, cornflakes, raisins, banana (sometimes), nestum and milk or soyabean (low fat, reduced sugar kind)
midmorning: coffee, black. sometimes a cracker.
lunch: sliced fish noodles (boiled/steamed) w some bee hoon, loads of chillipadi :) i like my food spicey ;)
mid-aftrnoon: apple (not always, sometimes i skip mid-aftrnoon snack)
pre-wrkout: complan milk (or smth of that nature) w a supplement fr Pharmanex called PharmanexAccel.
post-wrkout: tuna, lean ham, beef meat (fatless), eggs, toufu, vege, chicken breast (mixture of any listed, and only steamed, boiled, grilled or oil-less fryg)
so let me know where im gg wrong! if i am! :O
That’s a great dietary regiment you have going there fitchick.. I try my best to stick to something similar too.. Unless I have meals with clients etc, then a bit susah to escape if you know what I mean…

my colleagues/ friends often try to “sabotage” me during e wkends or whenever w japananese/ italian dinners or margaritas/ kilkennys / stella or whatever.. ahhahaa.. will power is a must!! :D

Hi , keep up the good work with the site, i find it interesting and fairly informative.
I weigh 57 kilos and stand at about 5 ft 8 inches. I want to gain more muscle mass and plan to hit 70 kilos in 4 months, without the use of steroids. I’m currently taking a product called Serious Mass. Can you give me some advice and guidance in achieving this? And is it possible to get a sample of NOXplode so I can try it for myself before purchasing it? I’ve been hearing and reading alot about this product and I am interested in buying a tub.

Hey I work out in the morning around 6am. I started taking NO-Explode. The directions say I must take it on a empty stomach. I wake so early that I can’t eat breakfast and then wait 2 hours. When I decided not to eat breakfast and take the no-explode I was feeling weird. I had way less muscle fatigue but I was so hungry that it made the workout alot tougher than it had to be. But with all this I still had my best lifts in months. So to get to the main point do you have to take no-explode on a empty stomach, or can I eat and then take no-explode like 30 min later. Well I look foward to your answer.
Marcos: That’s a good question - and the answer is simple actually once you understand why. If there was food in your stomach, it would greatly slow down the absorption rate of the NO-XPLODE, so you won’t feel its effects as much as you do now.
Solid food (a reasonable sized meal) takes about 2 hours to clear your stomach and move into the intestines, and liquids (e.g. a protein shake) take about an hour. If you do take your XPLODE 30 mins after your meal.. you may only feel a very small effect because the absorption has been slowed down because of the presence of food in your stomach.
If you MUST have something in your stomach.. I’d advice you to consume a protein shake before your XPLODE, since it is liquid and will clear your stomach faster than solid food - maybe mix it with milk for some extra calories, and then drink the XPLODE about 60 mins after that, or you can even try 30 mins after that. Give it a try and let me know how this works for you.
Hi…. i have a quick qustion.. am a 25 yr old female…kinda juz started workin out… interested to tone up my flabby skin mostly… have lost huge amts of weight so got a lot of fixin to do.. am mostly concentratin n cardio… do u think N.O xplode is a great pre workout meal in the morning for me??? Shud i juz take the drink alone and workout? Thanx in advance
NOOO! There are only 36 calories in N.O. xplode…I know you are thinking that is a good thing but there is no nutritional value in these calories these are calories from sodium and potassium mostly. A good pre-workout meal would consist of a piece of fruit and some peanut butter or nuts. N.O. xplode has alot of caffeine and a little bit of creatine. I would recommend using it before a workout but atleast an hour after a small meal. whenever you workout you always want to have a little something nutritional in your stomach. One reason I don’t like this supp is that you are supposed to wait along time after you eat in order to get full benefits. Honestly its cheaper to drink coffee and have some fruit before a workout.

i think its safe to say that N.O Xplode is designed for the heavier (read : more intense) workouts.
for cardios and light training, there are other supplements that you can look at. N.O Xplode is designed for the ruff stuffs.
right on trey…its more for weights. alot of people do not like caffeine before cardio because it speeds up the heart rate. if you are going to run it will speed it up anyway….just asking for fatigue
DM: I just want to let you know I think this site is great, I was looking for information about NO Xplode and Nitrix and found a lot of great information here!!
I just wanted to ask you a few questions I have about these products- I have a really hard time gaining any kind of muscle mass! I’ll get a little bit of definition and I don’t want to be huge but I want a little more definition than I get normally! Some people recommended lifting really heavy and it works but only to a point and others said maybe up my cardio and getting rid of the extra fat will make me look more defined, but honestly it just made me disgustingly skinny, so I am trying NO Xplode and Nitrix right now- do you think these will help me get the definition that I have such a hard time getting with out them as a female or is there anything else you would recomment? I don’t want to be ridiculously muscular or anything, but I want the amount of time I spend in the gym to show on my body! I take protein regularly and I eat a clean diet. I have had a lot of people tell me not to take creatine because girls have a tendency to retain water and that it would cause my body to do that! Well if you have any advice let me know! Would you mind sharing your weight, height, and age - and bodyfat percentage if you have it..
That would help me get a mental picture of you, and come up with a more suitable recommendation.
Generally speaking, you can go very far without the need for any supplementation - but since you have already bought these, then thats okay too. Many people don’t realize that showing some definition requires 2 things:
1. muscle
2. low bodyfat percentage
So if you don’t have enough muscle on you and get lean - you wont have impressive muscle definition to show - instead, you’ll just look skinny. So if you lack muscle mass, you may want to work on that first for a few months - then only after that, focus on getting leaner. To build muscle, you should train in the 8 to 12 rep range, hit every body part at once or twice at most per week, and get enough rest. Plus, besides eating ‘clean’, you also need a higher calorie intake to support that weight gain. You’ll gain a bit weight… and that’s normal - so you diet after that and focus on getting leaner.

Anyway… write to me with more details, then perhaps I can be more specific with my recommendations.
