Revealing Your Abs - The Common Mistakes We Make

Most of us would have realised by now, that revealing our abs, or the 6 pack as it is commonly known is one of the biggest challenges to us - both males and females, when it comes to sculpting an awesome physique.

I was browsing through YouTube this morning, searching for videos of advertisements by Sports Nutrition manufacturers for a personal project I’m working on when I stumbled across this video, entitled Bodybuilding Abdominal Training Mistakes. It caught my eye immediately. Nevermind the comical illustration of the smiling ridiculously proportioned bodybuilder who reminds you of Johnny Bravo, pay attention to the advice given, as it is real, and it makes absolute sense.

It’s not everyday I come across someone else on the net preaching the same ‘gospel’ I do.
I love this short 5-minute video because it brings up areas that I’ve always written about, which are:

The ridiculousness of performing hundreds/thousands of crunches everyday to reveal your abs
The belief that spot reduction is possible
Why your midsection is the last place for you to lose bodyfat
The importance of cardio and your diet in revealing your abs

Enjoy!

Interesting indeed. Do you know that Arnold starts off his routine by doing 5 mins of ab exercises everytime? He doesn’t even bother counting the reps.

Hmm.. Notice how in the gym.. the ab-machines and ab benches are always occupied by people who should really be spending more time doing their cardio?
