Not a day goes by where my mailbox is spared from spam. A quick glance at my spam folder and I’m overwhelmed with mails on ED(erectile dysfunction), Weight loss, online pharmacy discounts, Anatrim (a dietary supplement that claims to suppress your appetite), and HGH (Human Growth Hormone) - I’m sure most of you can relate to this.
It is uncomfortable and thought provoking to see such a trend of subjects being spammed to mailboxes all over the world. It’s easy to understand why there will always be curiosity/demand for information related to drugs on weight loss, anabolic steroids, appetite suppressants, meds that claim to cure ED, and so on… but what about HGH - Human Growth Hormone? Now why would one be interested in buying Human Growth Hormone? Isn’t that freaky?
To me, and hopefully every one of you - bodybuilding and weight training should ALWAYS be about satisfaction derived from hard work, exercise, great eating habits and nutrition to achieve that awesome physique you’ve always desired. However, today, there are many ocassions where bodybuilding has just transformed into another form of drug abuse.
NOTICE: This writeup is for Informational purposes ONLY! Dailymuscle.com DOES NOT condone the use of synthetic substances/drugs that are made for other noble purposes but often end up being abused as a bodybuilding aid.
I still remember a few months ago, I met this really huge, freaky bodybuilder and I remember thinking to myself.. “this guy looks like an ANIMAL!”.. and then I saw him grab a vial of testosterone (packaged in a small white cardboard box) which clearly indicated on the outside - for ANIMAL use only… heck - there was even a picture of a horse and a dog on the box. Yeah, I laughed to myself… but at the same time.. I cringed in disgust.
Here are some facts that I saved from a magazine some time ago:
- Most of those who turn to drugs/other substances for bodybuilding are recreational bodybuilders, using it solely for cosmetic purposes
- A study done in the United States reveals that nearly 4 outta 5 of these users are not athletes and do it solely to improve their physical appearance.
- 89 percent of these abusers get their substances from unreliable sources
- more than 50 percent knowingly use substances manufactured in ‘bathtub’ labs (self manufactured)
- Almost 100 percent of users experience side effects to some extent.
Why talk about Growth Hormone?
A survey done in the UK, consisting of 200 gym goers revealed the following substances being abused:
- Ephedrine (44%)
- Growth Hormone (24%)
- Tamoxifen (22%)
- Clenbuterol (21%)
- Insulin (14%)
- Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (11%)
- Diuretics (10%)
- Thyroxine (10%)
*draw your attention to HGH usage - note that it is the second highest
As a person desiring to improve his physique, I can easily understand why the interest in Growth Hormone - the word GROWTH itself, WILL spark curiosity among us. We bodybuilders constantly strive to achieve muscle GROWTH, and when there exists an item that bluntly suggests it - you cant help but divert your attention to it.
While surfing around for information, I found somatropin.net (Somatropin is the scientific name for synthetic human growth hormone), which I found to be pretty informative and actually helped shed alot of light on questions I’ve always had on growth hormone.
Did you know, that as dodgy as it sounds - Growth Hormone is actually a good thing, made by reliable pharmaceutical companies for the treatment of:
• Growth Hormone Deficiency
• AIDS Wasting
• Treatment for Turner’s Syndrome
• Treatment for Prader-Willi Syndrome
• Growth Problems Caused by Short Bowel Syndrome
• Improper Growth in Children with Renal Disease
• Children with Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Osteoporosis
I believe that this site is reliable as it seems to be a purely informational site clearing the air on Growth Hormone - not a site trying to sell you something. There’s also a page on HGH Scams and things to watch for which is an eye opener.
Human Growth Hormone is a very widely used drug/substance and has quite a reputation. A good one among those using it for the right purposes, and a very bad one among those people who know very little about such drugs. I’ve always believed that we should always be aware of what is out there in order to safeguard ourselves from being victims.

I feel if a person decides to take any drugs they should know the right amount of dosage and go on a right cycle. IF they do that, in my opinion it should be “ok”. But then again most people wants quick results so that could lead them into thinking that if they take more they get quicker and better results which could lead to horrible side effects.
Anyway I was watching BBC the other day and there is a study on obesity. According to them some people who are obese are due to their genes! I dunno how valid is their study but to me that sounds extremely ridiculous.
Cheers
hmmm. i know someone who may find HGH to be really helpful. and u know what, i think u know him too. ha ha.
Shaun: This whole obesity thing is a joke I tell you.. did you know that there’s now a new fad diet being aired in tv in the US, saying that CARDIO is a complete waste of time and that it may even be BAD for you. I mean.. it’s true to a certain extent - cos ultimately you need a calorie deficit to lose weight, and that be done by simply consuming less food.. but its disturbing to see the trend of things and where it’s headed to.
cardio is bad for health? that is complete BS.
as for HGH…it is not miracle drugs la…i know of bodybuilder that jab themselves with steroids and think they will grow just by doing that…
if only they knew!
Sometime I feel that the media is the one that demotivates a person. I agree with you DM. The study was probably done on an animal or even on a small group of people. IMO i still feel that obesity is cause by the way we eat. We are what we eat. ITs evident with the amount of take away and fast foods appearing all over the place. First to go is MAcD….all they do is make our future children fat and sick.
ANyway do you boys include a cheat day in your diet??? There was a forum I read it say that including a cheat day in your diet helps to trick you body into burning the fat. What do you guys think? Personally for me it works. But I only do it once a week and I do not binge.
Cheers
Well, guys… Let’s head back to the topic…
Synthetic HGH is completely unnecessary for average Joes hitting the gym…
It’s usually recommended for people above the age of 25 who wants to build more muscle mass and grow bigger…
Hence, synthetic HGH comes into play to replace natural HGH existing in our bodies because after the age of 25, our natural HGH levels drop drastically…
And that’s another reason why it’s recommended for bodybuilders to start building a strong foundation at a younger age when their hormones are at its peak… (age 18 onwards)
Anyway, I can’t agree more with DM that “we reap what we sow”…
Building up naturally means lesser health problems at old age…
We do all intent to live a LONG fulfilling and HEALTHY life right?
Isn’t that the main reason why we started busting our asses in the gym in the first place?
Word!
shaun - i cheat everyday. i had a nyoya laksa with extra si ham today.
:) feel good. After this go gym and do HIIT…
Shaun: I personally do include a cheat day when I diet. Otherwise, I wouldnt be able to maintain my sanity.
yeah but I was reading about how rocky balboa got busted for possession of HGH and other “bodybuilding” items.:
http://blog.sngurus.com/2007/02/so-it-aint-so-rocko.html
If it’s ok for celebs like sly to take them, then what does taht say about the avg joe?
if not, then the title says it all…say it aint so rocko!
so much for the greatest UNDERDOG story ever told.
but have no cart im in iran and i cant have shopping cart how can i pay your money would you minde deliver your products to iran? pleas guid me im body building master can
do you have any company in iran?
well described article thanks for imparting great source of information. personally, I feel in today’s scenario there is not much natural bodybuilding competition held anywhere since HGH has sweep everyone’s mind over body scalping and anti aging facts. when we take the example of celebrity bodybuilder ie, Arnold in earlier days he did not got spared with duping pills and powders unless and until he learn’t from the side effects and took natural bodybuilding seriously and I hope Arnold is better inspiration for today’s boomers and bodybuilders Vs mr. Rambo. well, i guess mind sets and confidence level in oneself matters more then rely on illusion valley where HGH peddlers paint the fools with the label of celebrities and makes quick bucks.
It is surely a useful drug but I think it is better to consult a doctor before going for it, to avoid any possible risks. Thank you.
