Dr. Ray Strand – What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine May Be Killing You

by Noel Chelliah on Friday, Aug 24, 2007

I’ve never really been a ‘book’ person, but more of a magazine person. But now and then, when something comes up and captures my attention – I make an exception.

In line with some of the themes found on this site, which is taking care of your bodies, healthy eating and the benefits of proper nutrition, I’d like to draw your attention to the works of Dr. Ray Strand. He is the author of numerous books, and one of it is “What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine May Be Killing You“. Ray Strand is a doctor who has been bold enough to speak out about the health effects of prescription drugs.

If you are curious enough, read:
Interview with Dr. Ray Strand, author of Death by Prescription and Releasing Fat

I can identify very well with Dr Strand’s passion – he too, like me, came to a turning point which turned my focus, passion, instincts, and dedication the other way around – to enrich the lives of others.

What drives Dr. Strand?
At one point in his life, Dr. Ray Strand found himself in a losing battle, unable to successfully treat his wife who had suffered chronically with pain and fatigue, he agreed to try the regimen of nutritional supplements that a neighbour suggested. Much to his surprise, his wife’s condition began to improve almost immediately. That amazing turn of events led him to dedicate himself to researching alternative therapies in medicine, particularly in the arena of nutritional supplements.

Besides his books.. I admire what he actively does. A gift is only a gift if you give it away – and I’m glad that he is doing so by increasing awareness.

Ray Strand will be right here in Malaysia (Penang & Kuala Lumpur) on the 14th, 15th September 2007. He will also be in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. His research will equip you to protect or reclaim your nutritional health, possibly reversing disease and preventing illness. He will share cutting-edge medical evidence that will help protect your health.

I am partnering up with an organisation to help promote this mind opening event. Once confirmed, I’ll tell you guys how you can get the tickets. Stay tuned!
