I’ve been so overwhelmed with work - even tonight, I expect to be up at least until 2 AM. Doing this many nights in a row has even taken a toll on my personal life. It’s taken a toll on my sleep. It’s taken a toll on my workout routine. I haven’t been able to make it to the gym for the past week.
Oh hey - it’s part and parcel of life that moments like these happen - but I must say that it sucks. They say that life’s like a roller-coaster - but why am I in one that only goes faster and higher - never slowing down.
It sucks that I can’t find the time to blog. It sucks that I can’t do the very things that stir me.
Yet in the midst of all this madness, I managed to study, and sit for my American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Exams a couple of months ago - and am proud to say that I am now a certified Personal Trainer. :)
I miss sharing my passion. I miss venting out my frustrations. I miss coaching. I miss educating. I miss supporting. I miss teaching. I miss exercising. I miss helping. I miss blogging - and I miss you guys.
Amidst my busyness - I have still read every single comment on my site, and every single email you guys have sent. Thank you everyone for understanding, and fanning the flames of my passion.
I will be back really soon - bigger, more passionate - and better than ever. And a bit less emo than this too. Heh heh.
God bless.
Your friend and coach,
DM

1 week?? Muscle atrophy muscle atrophy!
Drop down and give us 30 pushups, now STAT, DM!!!
Put in 30 bodyweight squats, 20 lunges each leg.
Grab that watermelon (or frozen chicken..) and give us 30 overhead presses!
No time? No way. Do it all one after another, in 15 minutes or less!
You owe us that, as a blogger on DAILY muscle.
So what, you’ll be asleep at 2:15am instead of 2am, and your muscles might forgive you for ignoring them :D
Welcome Back DM, congratulations on your achievement as certified personal trainer, and now you owe us some quality posts.
Welcome back! Glad to see a new post from you. Interested to know more about the certification as I plan to take one. I’ll e-mail u later, boleh?
Try hindu body squat, DM in case you are busy. Maybe try 100 in 15 minutes and pushup for upper body workout

My best regards.
DM, can u tell me how was your ACE exams? is it tough? i personally would like to take it just for personal growth but who knows maybe make it as a career as well. i have been to the website its very informative but from your experience please do tell me more what is your advice?
Oh my goodness - I didn’t realise I had a few comments here that I’ve yet to respond! I should be shot.. Okay maybe not.
newbie: Yes I can train people - and I’m not limited to being in a gym to do so, and the certification is recognised worldwide. I AM in Fitness First, but just as a member for now.
max: I wouldn’t say its tough if you put your heart into it. If you have the interest - I’d say go for it! You’ll realise that being a Personal Trainer is so much more than just teaching someone how to exercise - it’s about changing lives - and that, to me - is the ultimate career. I may not be the best person to talk to if you really wanna know more - drop me an email if you’d like me to put you in touch with someone who can. You know how to reach me. :)
aw: I was reading this post by Darren Rowse (of problogger.net) on something he calls ‘Batch Processing’ which enables him to do A LOT - so simple, that it makes one wonder why we never thought about it. Or maybe some of you guys did.. but not me.
I hope to give this a shot this week! :D
