Yesterday afternoon, I was absolutely delighted that I found a place where I can buy nuts wholesale! So, without saying much… here’s what I got:

From the left:
1. Dried figs - RM6.80
2. Walnuts 250g - RM10.50
3. Almonds 500g - RM12.50
4. Pecans 250g - RM15.50
5. Pine Nuts 100g - RM11.90
There was even a 25kg bag of almonds!!
What does one do with all these nuts, you ask? Well, besides occupying a lot of space in my refrigerator, of late, my diet has been one which focuses more on simpler eating - fruits, vegetables, nuts, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
Before you ask - aren’t nuts fattening? Well, eating nuts won’t make us fat, but will in fact make us healthy and help control our appetite. But of course, use good judgement - a little bit of nuts go a long way. DON’T pop open a 1lb bag of almonds and get comfortable in front of the TV.
Nuts also contain a lot of fiber, and have been also known to have an appetite suppressing effect. With that, I’d like to recommend nuts to anyone on a fat loss program! Have a handful of nuts instead of a handful of chips.
Note: The nuts you consume should be raw/roasted with nothing funky added. Meaning, have them in their natural form. If they come salted, or honey/flour coated, or with other added flavours etc - then give it a pass and go for the real thing.
On another note - you can also get creative with nuts! Besides eating them as they are, you could also blend them with your shakes (you get much richer shakes), toss them on a salad (adds some bite to a dull salad), or, if you’re bold enough… come up with something like what I’ve done here:
Believe me - it is 100x more healthier than it looks! However, it looks much better than it tastes - which isn’t too bad after all - and is ridiculously simple to prepare. If you’ve got a sweet tooth - this will satisfy! Stay tuned for my recipe for this - sign up for the DailyMuscle Email Newsletter below so you don’t miss it (my newsletter also has added tips/info I may not mention here).

dude, may i know where is this nuts wholesaler place … I’m a nutty fans too… The nut @ Coldstorage is so damn expensive. Can you send me the info to tzeong@hotmail.com
Thanks :)
DM, you got me going nuts on nuts here LOL! FYI, I’m a nut craze. Whenever my friends ask me what I want as souvenirs whenever they travel, my answer is always ” a pack of nuts please” :))
So, can you please please please provide me the info of this place where I can get those nuts wholesale? I usually eat them with oats and yogurt. Nuts don’t come cheap here.
Thanks to Mydin, lately I’ve been able to get dry cranberries, blueberries etc at a cheaper price per weight that I need.
I snack on Almonds daily…yumsss!
but the portion has been a lil over lately….*fainted*….it can be quite addictive….so i must control & limit to 10-15 per serving
u guys can get it from bakery shop…and definately it’s way much cheaper!
Usually my mum will buy raw almonds from bakery shop and roast it for me…<3 *heart*
I agree with this. I snack on sunflower and pumpkin seeds as well. Has to be the natural/organic form - taste bland but better than snacking on those sugar coated/salted ones.
For those in Singapore, if you want to buy wholesale natural nuts, head to Victoria St Market
I normally eat Tong Garden’s All Natural Cocktail Nuts; they’re unsalted and unsweetened, just roasted. They have a mix of raisins and figs too..price ranges from RM8.90-9.40, depends on where you buy. One whole bag has about 400+ calories..I normally snack half of it in between meals just to kill my hunger. I know it’s cheaper if I can buy wholesale and roast them myself..but time is so limited!
hi, DM
I would also like to know where you bought nuts at those fantastic prices. I love almond very much but it’s seling at RM9.90 150g at JJ, so I spent like RM40 every month just for almonds.
Yo DM, tell us lah where you get the nuts hehe :p
Always add new updates but no replies on this topic?weird nyer :p hehe

My Email Newsletter readers got to know it much earlier though - cos sometimes it’s much easier for me to write out a short email blast and share information that’s not quite enough to be a blog post, but still pretty useful. If you haven’t already joined (it is FREE) - go check out http://www.dailymuscle.com/dms-email-newsletter/
Speak to you guys soon.
I just got 2 bags of 500g nuts today. One is almond (RM8 / 500g) and walnuts (RM14.50 / 500g). I could get 1kg for 50 cents less for both types of nuts, but for now I’m just trying it and see how it taste. It’s raw as DM has mentioned. Going to try it in tonight’s shake to see how it goes.
